The lecture
over TV broadcasting is one of my favorite lectures to date because it was both
a topic that was interesting and affected my everyday life. (I watch TV almost
every night with my family.) Although I knew that TV had an impact on me, I didn't know how it had an impact on
my life until this lecture. Mr. Miller pointed out how TV tends to draw us away
from social activities, which was an impact I was not aware of. It made me
suddenly aware of how much time I spend on technology, and it made me want to
cut back on watching TV to do other more meaningful things.
