Response to Blog Post- Sydney

 I really enjoyed reading Sydney's post about the invention of the teenager, and I was impressed that she even went online to look for a further explanation about it. I was also interested when I learned about the "invention of the teenager" because like Sydney, I had not thought about an age range being invented. When I think of the word "invention", I typically think about the materialistic things that are invented, such as the light bulb. I never thought that automobiles would be the cause of the invention of the teenager, since I took it for granted that the idea of teenagers had always been around. It's really incredible to see how one invention can affect and change a nation.
